Extension Let's Cook with Parmco(Chef Jordenne)

In Extension, we entered another competition. But now it is not movie, it's cooking.

This competition is called "Let's cook with Parmco". Here I'm cooking fruit salad.

It is just drawing. Isn't it great to enter a competition that we don't do movies, but cooking.

I hope we win this because the prize are like 2 ipads and something else.

Pretending to be Liu Xiang

"Woooh, I've got to win this" I said as I was getting ready for the race. In 2008 I lost because I crashed into a hurdle. So I'm going to try to not lose for my country China you know why, because I AM THE WORLD RECORD HOLDER SO NO ONE CAN BEAT ME!! My goal is to win at the London Olympics.

"Oooouuuuucccchh"! I cried. "What have I done, what am I doing? I've let my country down, my village down, especially my Family down!!". I whispered to myself after crashing into the first hurdle. "OUCH! my Achilles tendon, it is so sore"!!.


"Man, I feel so disappointed and embarrassed. I should get out of here, my country is going to kill me". As I hopped out the stadium, I heard people laughing at me. "Excuse me, you can't go that way". Hopping out, I went to the hurdle and kissed it. " Now it's my time to retire". Two men from Spain and Great Britain came and helped me.

Cross Country

Focusing on the path, my legs were shaking. "Go!". Filled with great strength, I quickly ran as fast as I could. When I looked up, I saw that I was coming 4th WOW!!!

Running towards the bridge I nearly STOPPED and FELL!!! But luckily I didn't. This is what I've been waiting for. Finishing running past the bridge, I quickly tried to run past Asena. But she was too fast.

Going through the Forest actually(Bushes), I saw heaps of people there. "So that where they were"??

 I was proud of me coming 4th, but I needed to be careful because Doris is coming and she'd going to make me come 5th. "Nooooo" Well to bad, I tried my best now I'm coming 5th.

Seeing Miss V(not the sports one) close to the bridge, she made me feel like I'm nearly there.

Well that what she said. "Half way" Miss V called out. Running towards another bridge(smaller bridge), I heard Mr Burt.

I can see them. I was puffed OUT so HARD!!! I saw a teacher again. "Turn around" she said.

"Ohhh" Jogging towards the end, mud was all over me. I heard Mr Jacobsen, "And the 1st 10 year old is 

ASENA!!!

At the end I felt nice and relaxed. I came 5th.

“Take your marks” The crowd was roaring as Usain Bolt poised for the gun. Can he win?


GO! With great strength Usain Bolt was like a swift wind. Speeding down the track lightning Bolt powerfully finished. He is a legendary.

Representing Jamaica, Usain Bolt blitzed the race. Filled with joy and celebration, the world’s greatest sprinter deserved to win. He is a true champion.What is his Future? Will return.

Closing Ceremony for the Olympics 2012

"Aww maan" I cried. Tomorrow is the Closing Ceremony for the London Olympics. New Zealand just has 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze! Well at least Valerie Adams, Nick Willis and other's all tried their best.

I hope everyone has a great trip back to their relatives and friends. Now after tomorrow we are all back to rugby and netball. "Man why does it have to finish so fast".

Maybe when I grow up I might become an Olympian, and get to do Athletics, swimming or maybe Gymnastics. When I'm flexible.

So Olympics is amazing and fun to watch.

 

Happy Father'a Day Dad

 In Samoa it their Father's Day today (August 12). It was a special day for my dad.

When I got up, I quickly ran to my net-book and started emailing my dad to say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!! As I was writing my letter to my dad, I started whispering to myself "I hope he likes it".

Why do I email my dad, well because I don't live with him. Actually I don't live with my brother's and sister's and mum. So that why I emailed my dad. 

My dad is very special to me, because when I lived in Samoa and when I was little my dad was kind, helpful and especially a Great dad. So I love my dad very much and I miss him!

Big thank you to Panasonic for the camera

As we were doing assembly a man called Paul from Panasonic came. Paul came to give room 13 a video camera that we won for the storyboard because they do Panasonic competitions every year. A group of people in our class have worked very hard on the
storyboard competition.

Cross Country Training

Walking towards the courts I said to myself “Do we have to do this?”. “Man teachers are mean!
“I just hope it will rain” I cried. “Why oh why”!!!!

Running down the path struggling to breathe, my legs were aching and I couldn’t see. “Run, run, run’ said Miss King. “Awww maan”. Jogging my way around Mr Sommerville my chest felt painful.

My goal is to win a gold medal and maybe run 5 or 4 laps!!!
